CARRIAGE DRIVING LESSONS An interesting and challenging two day introductory course into the fascinating art of Carrige driving for one or two people using our experienced horses in our purpose built off road training environment. Accommodation is in our elegant and comfortable bed and breakfast unit, and is fully catered, with guests arriving between 5.30pm and 7.30pm in time for a cup of freshly brewed coffee before adjourning to a local restaurant for their evening meal (cost included in price). In the morning guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before the day begins at 9.30am. At the conclusion of the day pupils will again have the opportunity of enjoying a meal at one of the local gourmet food outlets (cost inclusive in price). During the two days the course will cover basics such as harnesing and unharnessing safely, rein handling, driving techniques, safety tips and much more. Pupils will be given the opportunity to drive a carriage during their stay. All participants will receive written course material and a carriage driving tutorial video for their personal use at the end of the course. HORSES FOR SALE & BREEDING We consistantly breed high quality Friesian Warm blood horses as general purpose, dressage and carriage horses. Friesian warm bloods have outstanding temperaments, excellent conformation and great trainability. They excel in combined training having natural jumping ability and excellent paces for dressage. They also make excellent harness horses. Kardella Classic Carriages offers a choice of five wedding carriages and one general-purpose vehicle for hire. Our carriages range from our elegant and regally impressive white closed coach to an open and more informal modern style carriage, with classic and historic vehicles in between. Our general-purpose vehicle has easy access and an all weather canopy for use on winery tours, pleasure rides, at festivals and private functions. For weddings we provide a personalized door-to-door service* with a liveried driver and footman. Our horses wear bridal garlands and ribbons on the harness matched to your colour themes. (*some time and distance restrictions may apply) Wedding hire starts at $550 plus mileage and GST. Phone us or call and view our carriages and receive a personalised quote. Winery tours 1/2-day winery tours including light lunch and wine tasting $75 per person. Minimum 4, Maximum 12 persons.
